Obama has outshined Gaddafi's speech
in the U.N. grandstanding on a spectacular
scale. However if this is the role of a president
then we need to look at records and popularity
standings.
The fact is that a lot of Americans no longer
have faith in president Obama. This will be
illustrated in the next few days in Pittsburgh.
The Obama pick-up-stick health plan as
presented to the people is unstable as a bill
and will undergo such changes that one will
not recognize it as the presidents bill. At
their worst past presidents have generally
presented bills that are more or less
complete and not subject to vast changes
from the original bill.
At the present time Obama is becoming
eminently qualified to be an anchor man on
Fox or perhaps take over David Letterman's
slot. Should the president spend more
time on the myriad of problems that need
imediate attention and stop "grandstanding"
in public venues? Should not he
spend more time securing the future of
The United States economy? Banking,
unemployment, "the war".
these are questions to be answered.
Mr. President show us your nose to the
grindstone in the oval office. We know
you now and as they say in Brooklyn,
"We got your number".
Get back to running the nation!
