THE HIGH COST OF THE DRUG WAR?

OVERNIGHT SOLUTIONS ARE NOT IN THE FUTURE .
PROHIBITION OF ALCOHOL HAD THE SAME
HISTORY OF FEEDING CRIME AND CORRUPTION.
CANNABIS WILL EVENTUALLY FIND A PATH TO SOME
SORT OF LEGISLATION  LEADING TO THE CREATION
OF A HUGE INDUSTRY THAT WILL BENEFIT AMERICANS
AND NOT CRIMINALS.

A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM IS SIMPLE AND
SHOULD BE LEGISLATED ASAP. THE COST OF
COUNTER MEASURES TO THIS CRIME HAS GROWN
EXPONENTIALLY IN THE LOSS OF LIVES AND THE COST
OF ENFORCING EXISTING OBSOLETE LAWS. 

AMERICA YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.
 
MARY JANE IS A CASH CROP IN AMERICA THAT
MOSTLY BENEFITS CRIMINALS AND NOW WITH THE
HYPOCRITICAL MASS AGRICULTURE IN PLACE WILL
LARGELY BENEFIT NEWLY FORMED CORPORATIONS
THAT ARE IN NOW IN PLACE SET TO GOBBLE UP 
THE PROFITS OF "MEDICAL MARIJUANA "


THE SMALL FARMER,WHO MIGHT HAVE REPLACED HIS
CORN, WHEAT, AND VEGIES WITH THE SINGLE SOLUTION
OF GROWING ILLEGAL POT WILL HAVE TO LOOK FOR
ANOTHER CASH CROP.

AMERICANS  STUBBORNLY DENY THAT  ALCOHOL IS A
MUCH MORE DAMAGING LEGAL HABIT.

THE MYTH THAT MARIJUANA IS EVIL AND IS A PORTAL THAT
LEADS TO COCAINE AND OTHER DANGEROUS DRUGS IS
ANOTHER CON JOB BY THE GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED
BY THE RIGHT AND LEFT. YOU MIGHT CONSIDER CLOSING
THAT PORTAL BY ALLOWING MOST AMERICAN'S TO
HAVE THEIR LOVE AFFAIR WITH MARY JANE MINUS
THE FEAR OF BECOMING CRIMINALS. 

LEGALIZE IT ,COLLECT TAXES, AND OVERNIGHT ELIMINATE
THE HORRIBLE COST OF ENFORCING THE LAWS AND
THE MORE HORRIFIC COST IN LIVES. INDISCRIMINATE
USE OF ALCOHOL LEADS TO A DREADED DISEASE THAT
CRIPPLES THE USER, HIS FAMILY AND A SUBSTANTIAL
SEGMENT OF SOCIETY.

INDISCRIMINATE USE OF POT MOSTLY RESULTS IN
AN INCREASE IN APPETITE. MORE PEOPLE DIE FROM
THE USE OF ALCOHOL GLOBALLY THAN MOST DEADLY
EPIDEMICS COMBINED. THIS IS THE TRULY EVIL DRUG.

DENY THE PROFIT TO THE CARTELS AND ADMIT THAT
THE INFRASTRUCTURE IS ALREADY IN PLACE FOR THE
SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF MARY JANE. THE ONLY
DAMAGE WILL BE TO SMALL GROWERS WHO WILL
BE ELIMINATED BY CORPORATIONS WHO ARE ALREADY
INVESTING IN LAND AND WAREHOUSING TO GROW
AND DISTRIBUTE THIS DREADED SUBSTANCE. 
THE MONEY WILL REMAIN IN THE U.S. ECONOMY AND
WILL CREATE JOBS AND A NEW INDUSTRY, MUCH NEEDED
IN THE PRESENT NATIONAL CLIMATE.

PERHAPS IT IS TIME FOR THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT, WEAK
REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS, THE PRESIDENT, CONGRESS
AND THE SENATE AND THE HUGE NUMBER OF AMERICANS
WHO HYPOCRITICALLY  USE THIS SUBSTANCE REGULARLY,
CONTRIBUTING TO CRIME AND THE COST OF ENFORCEMENT
WILL THEY CONFESS TO THIS SIN AGAINST SOCIETY ?
ADMIT YOUR SINS AMERICA AND REPENT.

PAYING THE FREIGHT

Recently a misinformed friend complained of
the high cost of shipping the President to various
countries on his recent tour. The cost of shipping a
president for any reason has always been expensive
but for political/economic expediency it often is
cost effective.

There was never a complaint about the cost of shipping
Bush around in spite the glaring fact that the results were
mostly never cost effective. The cost of shipping an intelligent
president or an idiot is about the same. Why the flap? it
seems that whatever Obama does vultures await in the
shadows to pick his bones, correction, his "black bones".

Please realize that culturally we are racists in the
United States , hiding behind a very thin veils basking
in the dark behind prejudice and ignorance. We simply
prefer a white president and not a black president.
I would like to point out that Obama is a glass half
full of black and white, however it is a full glass. Since
slavery one is considered black in the U.S. if one drop of
blood exist and can be traced back to a relative who is black.
In most peoples minds he is black. Which suggest to them
ignorance, possible culturally deficiencies and a preference
for supporting black issues and the dreaded creep of
imagined socialism.

The Civil War that fought over slavery still rages. Perhaps
sometime latent, ingrained by years of indoctrination
by history and politics. My admission to this fault is self
incriminating since when strolling I unconsciously cross
the street when I see a black man approaching me. This
is not a one party fault since Democrats and Republicans
alike share my cultural faults.

Globally racism sadly continues to run free in most
countries. Often it is now based on religion as well as
political formats. The United States does not have
the monopoly on this epidemic that seems to increase
daily.

The pathetic fact is that most of the banks and
corporations are run by lily white folks. Universally
it was white people who got us into this mess. Could
a black or even a white man turn around 15 or 20
years of greed and legalized usury in one term.

Think about this!

We rapidly approach the Presidential election, and we
shall see what goes down. What will happen if there is
a substantial decrease in unemployment?

Prediction, the idiocy and faulty policies will march
right back into the white house even if the failing
economy steps out of the closet and shines. We
will return to the old format of the privileged
running the banks and economy. This will result
in a slow recovery and we will blame the
"black man"for the lag and jettisons him in a
blaze of ignorance, never mind if his attempts
fail or succeed, the political process is in motion,
Obama will likely serve only one term. It would
be difficult to halt the freight train of misguided
citizens with that amount of political fat aboard.
The public will probably deny any progress and
return to the antiquated political processes
that will spell out an undefined future for most
Americans , especially those who are not a part of
the "privileged white class".

The rest of the world now views us as arrogant,
over privileged and generally fat and greedy. If the
shoe fits wear it with stupid pride.!

WHO REALLY LOST IN MID-TERM

Who really lost in the midterm elections?

Obviously Obama lost a lot of ground and no
longer has a true bully pulpit, one that he underused
in caution and weakness , that is his nature.
However he can now soon include the Republicans
in the nations failures. The consensus is growing
that the legislative branches of the government
believe they are there to pass laws that will give
them clout back home allowing them to continue
to be employed. Both sides of the aisle do not
monitor those laws once they have points for
reemployment by simply passing laws that "might"
possible benefit their constituents. The Democrats
lost some power but the stagnation of politics in
the U.S. had already drained that power to a
dribble of use. The citizenry lost any hope of
change for at least until the next presidential
election. Obama will in the end be a one term
president. Mostly we all lost in this election.

What does it all mean and how will,in truth, it
change politics in the U.S. and Globally?

Changes are unlikely to happen in the U.S. or
Globally. There will probably be a substantial
increase of young Americans returning in body
bags. They will almost entirely be volunteers
from the working class of America few will be
from privileged families. The "tribal war" will
continue in Afghanistan. We will continue to
wage futile wars as though we where "crusading"
not nation building. Will we never wake up to
the fact that the people of Iran, Pakistan,
Afghanistan, Iraq, and most countries in that
area see us as another tribe trying to grab
economic and political power. Globally we are
seen as "crusaders" as so stupidly put by
President Bush. There is some truth in this.
We will continue and most likely increase the
drain on the economy by waging "crusades"
of questionable justification. This matrix of
wasteful crusading will most likely continue
with your next president is elected who will
assuredly be a Republican

How tangible are the changes ?

The tangible benefits and changes are elusive.
Not likely that they will reach the average
American soon. However there may be an
increase in employment as Republicans
increase their responsibility if they continue
to blindly stonewall the entire political
process. They need to take that back home
increased employment to keep their jobs.
They are mostly building a monument to
procrastination and stupidity that will
endure. Each member of the Senate and
House should receive a small replica of
this monument to place next to their
miniature Statue of Liberty on their desk.
This is a redundant trait in American politics
that has a distinguished and dubious history
going back to the Revolution. The only true
benefit is that we must now seriously consider
health care in America. Not the cost of insurance
but the cost of the actual care. Or will it morph
into another commercial platform to benefit
insurance companies and not most Americans?
Most likely this problem will be kicked ahead
until the presidential election. Not many
tangible benefits to brag about. Hopefully
this stagnation will become a major issue
requiring President Obama,congress and the
house to get to work and stop quibbling like
children fighting over toys (IE. votes) in a sandbox.

The virtual Tea Party should return
to the Republican fold.

The emergence of the virtual Tea Party as
an expression of anger and dissatisfaction
is a non event of little value. Most will return
to the Republican party where they might
possibly contribute to the betterment of the
party. Many were put to pasture like cows
to chew on their cud. Historically anger and
dissatisfaction is not a substantial issue to
build a Party on.

Questions not answers, in the final analysis.
Not much of a constructive nature has
happened. Americans have the ability to
elect a president congressmen and senators
who will restore the dignity and economy of
America. You are the government. Please
vote with more responsibly in the future
and stop your whining. Face the reality that
it will be a slow recovery no matter what and
no matter who is in office.
